Snowdon and Hopkins Architects, PC
Snowdon and Hopkins • Architects, PC have been practicing architecture for more than 35 years. From their office in Vail, Colorado, they have designed custom residences, libraries, and commercial buildings throughout the western United States. Snowdon and Hopkins’ projects are located predominantly in the Rocky Mountain region. The firm has received design awards bestowed upon them by their peers. Their projects have also been published in national and regional magazines, including Architecture and Mountain Living.
They recently started Ground Design Lab, a new kind of interdisciplinary design group to combine ecological field science with anthropological-based design research to inform their architecture. By grounding design in solid science and observation, their designs are aimed to better fit into the environment where they sit and better serve the people who use their spaces.
