Castle Peak offers a continuum of care with a variety of living environments providing care and support as residents’ needs change.
Castle Peak is being designed to accommodate spouses who may have different needs. For example, a couple may share two suites in the care center (companion rooms) if desired or one spouse can live in the assisted living area while another lives in the care center.
In consideration of the health and safety of all residents, pets will be welcome to visit but will not be able to live in the community.
Assisted living residents will need to bring their own furnishings. Staff will be available to assist residents and families in creating comfortable and inviting interiors. Rooms will be furnished in the skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation units; however, we encourage residents to bring smaller items that will add personal touches and make them feel at home.
Castle Peak residents and visitors will enjoy walking paths, patios and common areas with natural light and beautiful vistas. A variety of amenities will be present but have not yet been finalized. Options being considered include a hair salon/barber shop and café.
We are looking at numerous possibilities, including inter-generational programs with the local school, health and wellness classes, culinary events, educational programs and music events. Other activities will be determined by residents’ desires and preferences.
A variety of income levels will qualify for residence in the skilled nursing center. Assisted living residents will pay privately or with the help of long-term care insurance policies for services and rent.
Two meals a day are included for residents in assisted living. Residents will have the option purchase an additional daily meal if they wish to do so.
